Project Management

The Jillson Company is committed to providing timely services to its clients. With that in mind, personnel within the company are designated as the responsible individual(s) for each project and are able to make judgments on behalf of the company. Every project within the company is designated to one project manager. The assigned manager has ultimate responsibility for the project as it progresses. This individual is the key contact person for the project and has technical responsibility for the work being performed. Several additional staff members will work on project at the request of the project manager. These individuals provide the background services (drafting, calculations, etc.) that are used by the senior project manager to make up the final work product. These people may include other senior or associate personnel depending upon the project scope.

Job Procedures

Each project at The Jillson Company contains steps and processes unique to the site or development being proposed. It would be impossible to present a comprehensive approach that covers all of the various contingencies which might arise during the course of a project, however, there are a number of steps which occur on every project.

Proposals

Before beginning a project, the various component parts must be identified and evaluated. The Jillson Company will meet with the client to discuss the project as envisioned by the client. We will then prepare a proposal which explains a detailed description of the services to be provided as well as the assumptions upon which the estimates are based and responsibilities of both parties.

Execution

Upon approval of the proposal, The Jillson Company will begin work. Communication with the client will be provided explaining the status of the project and requesting input as needed. When feasible, The Jillson Company will present multiple options from which the client can select a course of action for a given situation. We will then provide a detailed design. Should some action occur which directly affects the possible outcome of a project, our staff will contact the client, or designee, to receive direction.

General

As mentioned above, several responsible individuals within the company will be assigned to a given project. The client, or designee, is encouraged to contact these people with questions at any time. The actual process for each individual project can be amended or altered to suit the project.
